They can defend themselves in court if there is enough evidence of their involvement in a crime But it sure seems that if they were involved , the GOP would have brought charges during the President first term
I don’t think the GOP didn’t bring charges because the Clinton’s weren’t involved. More likely, they didn’t bring charges against any Democrats, because too many Republicans and their GOP donors were also involved. “You don’t talk and we won’t talk.”
