My advice is that everyone should make a practice of regularly checking their registration, especially when the elections get close. You want no surprises at the polls. This is especially important if your name is ethnic or could be thought to skew towards being scene as a black name.

Also note, if you moved and marked a change voter information for me, they don't do it, you will have to initiate your own new enrollment to vote in the new county with your new address, they use this to erase you from the voter role in your old county. No electronic registration- by mail w/stamp.

I registered voters in Texas and many Deputy Registrars put in hours of volunteer time. This makes me furious and should make voters who were purged just as furious. Do not let them steal your vote.
