A California court yesterday slammed the Trump administration for trying to create a “national police force with the president as its chief."

Let’s be clear: The military shouldn't be policing civilians.

Maroon background with white text "This was intentional — defendants instigated a months-long deployment of the National Guard and Marines to Los Angeles for the purpose of establishing a military presence there and enforcing federal law. Such conduct is a serious violation of the Posse Comitatus Act" The quote is attributed to Judge Charles Breyer in his decision on the legality of President Trump deploying troops to Los Angeles

  1. Wrong words: not federal laws, Trump executive orders. Very different. Also, laws that weren’t voted or approved by WE THE PEOPLE and go against the constitution are not laws, are illegal pieces of paper.

  2. Okay but without enforcement laws and rulings mean nothing. Fascists don’t care about the rule of law from a government they don’t respect. Is anything actually doing to be done?

  3. Yet the troops apparently forgot their oath to the constitution and refuse to stage a coup against the felon. Spineless oath-breakers...!
