  3. I watched my mother die of Pancreatic cancer. They filled her full of morphine & IV fluids. She begged us (me & my brothers/sisters) to help her; to just leave a knife on the bedside table or throw her out the 2nd storey window. She cried out in pain or was so doped up she slept for days. 2/x

  4. As an Atlantic subscriber for many years, I was extremely disappointed in the negative treatment given the very morally complex issue of Dying With Dignity. I wondered if the title had been concocted by some eager beaver copy editor to attract eyeballs to a very serious topic.
