YES. I used to have to fly to SF every other week for work when I was at Lucasfilm and I eventually got so fed up between that and flights delayed or cancelled due to fog I just started flying into Oakland and it was 1000x better experience
Shoutout to the air train for coming once every ~20 minutes despite being advertised as coming every 5. I’ve never gotten on Bart less than 90 minutes after touching down

It’s not the worst airport but I think SLC has a terrible system for baggage, somehow both arriving & departing requires you to lug baggage to different floors. I’d be fine with a layover there though.
