Netanyahu won’t stop until he either he finds a way to expel all the inhabitants of Gaza or kills them. It is as simple as that. Once that is completed he will focus on the West Bank. His hatred of Palestinians goes back to his fights with Yasser Arafat and the PLO.

Netanyahu and his most ardent supporters openly declared their rejection of a two-state solution. Their actions are consistent with that rejection. It is as if they are trying to destroy the possibility of a two-state solution in they same way they have destroyed Gaza.
I once asked John Spencer (U.S. Urban Warfare pro-Israel guy) if, militarily speaking, Israel could withdraw from Gaza and protect itself remotely with near 100% certainty. He said yes. I think that's the truth.
