Spent 3 hours on Sunday looking for a locally rare sea duck (Black Scoter) that had been reported for almost an entire week.
No luck so I spent a half hour sitting on a dock taking dabbling ducks, mostly of this very friendly American Wigeon who paddled right up to me.

and in the mean time I saw, there was a WWSC at Alum Creek SP.
when I saw that in the ebird report this morning I did scream a little bit lol, I was so close nearby (Griggs Reservoir), although I was mostly after adding a scoter to my Franklin County list and that bird wouldn't have helped there (as it was in Delaware County)
