American presidents don’t even joke about this. Just because he’s petty doesn’t mean this isn’t dangerous.
I assume when you fought the War of Independence against one king, you never imagined you would end up with a home grown one?

That’s why Washington refused a monarchy. None of them imagined what we would (and have) become.
