In California, we have Covered CA insurance, which was established under the Affordable Care Act. It has been a life saver. We all received emails that they can only guarantee our current payment until December.

The ACA wasn't enough. 40 million or more of us can't afford the premiums, and expanding Medicaid was left up to individual states, which means the vulnerable in red states are suffering from a lack of care. My daughter can't get the surgery she needs because she has no coverage.
