Can anyone who knows ball tell me if SCOTUS denying to hear the case to overturn Obergefell is a mostly a welcome surprise or mostly an indication that the case Evangelical Umbrage was bringing was even more spud-headed nonsense than usual and you suspect they'd rather wait for a better one.
I’m no expert at all. But we should not be surprised that the Supreme Court does not want to legitimize the defiance of Supreme Court rulings.
