Barton Fink has a perfect cast, but I rewatched it with some pals a few days ago and about every twenty minutes, one of us spoke up to affirm that John Goodman is one of the best actors of all time. That dude has a presence like no one else.
Man, I love the Coen brothers. Blood Simple was the first of their movies I watched and I was blown away. They set a theme and a scene like no one else.

They were filming Blood Simple in Austin one night on 6th street, I stopped by to watch, but they were only filming interior shots that night.
Still fun talking to the crew.

I didn't watch Blood Simple until college (years after it came out) and it's one of the best directorial debuts ever.
