Despite the difficult circumstances around her son she will have to resign. You can’t have a government planning to clobber people with property taxes with a Deputy PM underpaying her own. We’d have said it of the Tories and we have to be consistent. Our politics is broken.

    It’s cruel and arbitrary that her son having a benefit from a trust to support his disabilities counts as a 2nd home.

    That’s the system to though, and she’s partly responsible for running it.

  2. Sadly, it might be the only answer for her resign - otherwise it looks set to be a huge distraction. I genuinely like Angela, but the Government really don't need this distraction taking away from the good stuff they are doing.

  3. Hmm. Given that Starmer ordinarily has no way to get rid of her bc she's elected, this seems terribly convenient for him, given that people like McSweeney are said to dislike her.
