Media is reporting that #COP30 delegates are appropriately questioning Canada’s commitments to #ClimateAction.
To be clear, we can’t do nation-building, we can’t grow and diversify the Canadian economy and global relationships, and we can’t make Canada strong, if we don’t lead on #ClimateChange.
With these Canadian per-capita emissions, it will be a loong way to come anywhere near something resembling leadership. US the same btw. I m v, countries like Ethiopia, Kenya, Urugay are far ahead, climatewise. Yes they are poor. But that's not the competition.
They are right to question our commitment, I sure am. Carnage.

I wish there were more cuts but I think we're taking carbon reductions from other projects that allow others to move ahead. eg: Factory homes designed w/higher insulation standards, reducing lifetime emissions, being built faster while lowering per‑unit emissions & with less construction waste.
