The President has a masked paramilitary disappearing people off our streets without due process, and most people are still, like, “when is Fascism getting here?”

Fascism is already here. So many people think there's a line that will be crossed that tips us into fascism. The line was crossed back in January when Trump ascended the throne again - I mean was inaugurated.

It's been here. Ask the marginalized and the descendants of slaves.

My take.

I feel like it’s hard for people to believe unless they see it first-hand. I know a lot of Angelenos who didn’t even think the disappearances were happening until it literally came to them lol
I don’t know how we fix the problem of normies taking action before it hits them. Not great

Cognitive dissonance at its "finest". People don't want to acknowledge the fact that fascism is already here.

I think most just don’t care and don’t even know what fascism is. Too busy at work and taking care of their families to even think about it.

It’s insane that that isn’t front and center every minute every single day.

It’s alive and kicking … simply been given a disguise of acting in the country’s interest when they are actually disbanding and breaking up large parts of society.

It was here during the Election.

Are We About to Have Labor Camps in the United States? Forty-five billion will build a lot of stuff. In 2023, the United States budgeted $12.8 billion to build new affordable housing. We’re about to spend nearly four times on detention centers what we spend on housing newrepublic.com/article/1976...

If you think that’s far-fetched, then you really haven’t been paying attention to what the Trump administration and Republicans in Congress have been up to lately.

Private prisons are ramping up capacity Nearly 90% of people in ICE custody are held in facilities run by for-profit, private companies. Two of the largest, Geo Group and CoreCivic, are working to increase their ability to meet the administration's demand. www.marketplace.org/episode/2025...

The pedophile president is disappearing children like this little girl in leg shackles, and no one knows where she went or trafficked to is probably more like it.

And tyranny always arrives by degrees - it doesn't just appear out of nowhere with a big fanfare to announce itself - it's incremental: at the moment people are being 'disappeared' then resurfacing a while later. In the near future people will be 'disappeared' forever.

It would really help if a bunch of those people weren't part of the elected opposition party who mostly seem to know how to write "strongly worded letters."

People are fucking clueless.

I knooow!😳😤👀🤯 Like people need to be told results, like during an election or something… or the absence of one??

Every person here on Bluesky knows that we are living in a fascist regime. The problem is that everyone here retreated here from X, Facebook, and Instagram. The people who stayed at those places aren’t hearing the message or are hearing the MAGA message.

Its been here since Reagan
