pre WWII Germany had a budding/thriving LGBTQ movement where acceptance was fully on the horizon far exceeding other country’s progress at the time. the nazis of germany saw this as a detriment bc gays cant reproduce for the aryan race. Nazis also thought gay ppl were being prop up by Jewish ppl
