Alright, I wanna know. What is something you have LOVED about Magic recently 🤔🤔

  1. I think I’m in the minority here, but I actually enjoyed DFT limited.

The EOE bonus sheet was a welcome sight. And the flavor and gameplay for EOE was phenomenal.

I’m mostly neutral about FIN, but it got me to start playing the games, and more folks are playing at my local shops because of it.

  2. The commander decks have been AMAZING. Tarkir and EOE have been a breath of fresh air and show Magic, as a unique IP, has staying power. I've gotten a few people to discover the game recently and watching them fall in love with it is incredible.

  3. I was terrified that EoE was going to be a hat set with space helmets. But with only a couple of exceptions, they really knocked it out of the park. It feels like MAGIC.

Also new Tezzeret design is a masterpiece.

  4. I started playing with a coworker recently and other than his dogs being ungovernable at times it's been pretty great to play magic semi-regularly.

  5. Never been a better time to build a cube. I also finally have a regular group of 8+ people after a friend of ours got into Magic and started recruiting for us. Nothing beats a free and regular draft opportunity for newcomers!

Also, Sonic the Hedgehog™️ (ignore my name)

  6. Tarkir Dragonstorm in general. Loving the FF set with no experience of the source material. My ridiculous Hofri deck.

  7. breaking out old decks and playing them on the kitchen table with complete disregard to any format restrictions

  8. Edge of Eternities - the story, design, art, everything has felt like MTG but expressed in one of my favorite genres (space opera/science fantasy). I hope we get to go back to the edge some day.

  9. I wasn’t sure about going to Commandfest Worcester last month, but I was so glad I did because getting to jam games with all sorts of different people was a blast. Now I want to travel to big events more in the future.

  10. I can't narrow it down to a single thing, so making a list:

    1. Tarkir Dragonstorm and Edge of Eternities were both great sets overall
    2. Final Fantasy has brought several of my non-Magic friends into the game
    3. Cube
    4. Looking forward to attending NA Eternal Weekend later this year

  11. EoE was pretty fuckin cool. Space ships and black holes, won out at prerelease, limited felt good (probably lucky)

  12. I am struggling to find out what to bring to Atlanta because I very much enjoy the several decks I have together.

    Magic art is awesome.
