News media reporting only a few percentage points of inflation since last year in several categories. But that’s not what I see in the grocery store shelves. I just look at beef and shake my head in disbelief.

  1. Chicken is also $8/lb. plus near me except at Walmart. I paid $5/lb. for Romaine lettuce last night. Ground beef is now for special occasions.
