Here’s why I disagree: they’re going to sober up, feel insecure about whatever they shared, and now you’re in the hot seat. You got to get out of there.
Alternate take: follow your two-drink max rule, but stay for the convos with your bosses after they've been "overserved".
Also consider that they usually suck ass as people. You won’t hear anything interesting, enlightening, or useful
