Honestly, the funniest thing about this is that over the past 50 years, there have been more Republican presidents who were male cheerleaders than those who have been in combat.
Three Republican presidents were male cheerleaders in college: George W. Bush at Yale, Ronald Reagan at Eureka, and Dwight D. Eisenhower at West Point.
I'll wait for the GOP to comment on that, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.
There was a Republican who complained to me about Obama putting his feet on the Resolute Desk. When I showed him Republican presidents doing the same thing, he kept quiet. Funny how only Obama brought out that sort of complaint: "Looks like a goat herder from Kenya." Exact words.

Goes hand-in-hand with the fun fact that the only GOP nominees for President since Nixon who have been in a Christian marriage were both named Bush. The rest were either in a remarriage after divorce or were Mormon (yes, I know they self-ID as Christian, but the Vatican doesn't agree).
