I don't know who needs to hear this, but there's actually no need to tolerate swastikas in our military ever. We don't need policy papers on this. We don't need long discussions and to "better understand" those who wear them. We can just ban all Nazi imagery and call it a day.

The Washington Post

U.S. Coast Guard will no longer classify swastikas, nooses as hate symbols
The military service, which falls under the Department of Homeland Security, has drafted a new policy that classifies such items “potentially divisive.”

  1. All the potential Dem candidates for 2028 should issue a joint statement now warning all military personnel that this policy will be immediately reversed on Inauguration Day 2029 and using such symbols (e.g., tattoos, etc.) will be grounds for dishonorable discharge.

  2. Arm services committee should call the head of the Coast Guard and Hegseth and make them publicly testify while they think it’s appropriate to let service members display hate symbols

  3. I don’t know wtf in the coast guard is happening but swastikas are absolutely hate symbols and other military members should not tolerate this hatred from or aimed at our fellow service members 🤬 this military family will not tolerate spreading hatred! Never vote republican.

  4. Banning swastikas has long been the policy of the military. When I was in the Army we were given EEO briefs every six months and were told we were required to report anybody who had Nazi tattoos or other extremist symbols.

    This is just disgusting.
