I'll add the caveat that I'm speaking as a white, centrist Democrat. It's easier for me to do this. All the more reason for Dems like me to do so.
I moved from Atlanta to the north Georgia mountains in 2014. The difference in politics was staggering.
I will admit to this one AMAZING fact, I have only seen ONE MAGA cap and no bumperstickers in these eleven years.
It’s difficult to understand how they keep voting while so uninformed!

Flags aren't being replaced, hats are really being worn, bumper stickers are fading and sport old phrases like "Joe and the Ho" or "LGB". In another 6 months they will be in a world of hurt with crop prices tanking, utilities skyrocketing, and momma getting kicked out of the old age home.
