I took this photo near my son’s wedding. Breathtaking…The Joshua tree can only be found in the US southwest and is 2.5 million years old. But because of climate change, will be extinct in 50 years.
Here in the Yucca valley, in the desert, is a lesson for us all.
just recently ,under fascist trump's policies, the us fish and wildlife services tried to end protection of the trees. a federal court in cal stopped it ,however with trump's win in the supreme giving him more power over the courts decisions, the tree may be screwed from protection.
