There is a lot of talk here from DOT and Duffy, but the specifics are unclear and still being negotiated.

Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy announced Wednesday that the Trump administration aims to take control of Union Station from Amtrak.
This is something to watch and even be concerned about, absolutely, but it needs an actual, good, skeptical report, not jumping on a news release.

Er... I think the release is actually terrifying. I don't want this administration having any part of any trains or train stations, TYVM. 😬
It is, but I think in the present context lots of people will read it thinking it involves the National Guard or ICE, not the outcome of a years-long legal process that the Trump administration will be able to take advantage of in nebulous ways.
