US economy grew 0.6%

I present these figures without comment

  1. I'm not brilliant with figures, but surley... 0.6% of say $500 billion is bigger than 1% of $50 billion? Oh, and don't call me shirley.

  2. The next BLS data drop will turn everything around. Trump is banning the use of decimal points... it therefore grew at 6%. There... you see how easy it all is 🥴

  3. Imagine placing such emphasis on GDP in a nation where a lot of folk are struggling with wealth distribution. Proof that economic literacy and morality rarely go hand-in-hand

  4. Indeed. The BBC and other UK media will present this as poor performance in the UK.

  5. .6% is a very low growth rate for USA, close from stagnation. With Biden they had growth + inflation, with Trump and its senseless tariff policy they have stagnation + inflation.

  6. Thanks for the actual number, they keep saying outlandish number here for growth, but with only a minor in economics, I can tell that’s bullshit.

I no longer trust our economic numbers, the world shouldn’t either.

  7. UK grew 0.3% in the second quarter of 2025, Japan grew 0.37%~0.4% in the same period... Not sure that the post-brexit UK is doing that well as international standards go 😓...

  8. Those numbers are FAKE NEWS!! The great Donald Trump, probably the greatest president in US history, has obtained “All New Numbers” now, and they’re Making America Great Again. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

  9. We are sacking the woman/organisation/microchip that provided these Biden loving figures and replacing it with our own honest and loyal accountants of negotiable probity
