today i am appreciating: homestar runner's subversion of the megaman "In the year 20XX" ambiguous year trope with "20X6", pronounced "Twenty-Exty-Six". it's still an ambiguous decade, but it's the sixth year of that ambiguous decade. i love that. delightful gag.
