Historically, these tactics fail and fizzle out. It worked at once when Republicans capitulated.
But times are different. The Democrats will be hunted down and arrested. Abbott will vacate their seats and appoint stooges.
America is a fascist nation now.

Only three out of 23 democratic governors are committed to this idea. Three others have said they support their efforts but won't do it in their states. We're not even close to taking the gloves off until more governors grow spines.

States can resist in ways congressional dems can't. Re drawing the maps hits the sweet spot as to something dem governors can do.

There is no reasoning with criminal narcissists. Playing politics in this landscape is a zero-sum game. Trump is a dictator holding all the power with zero accountability. Taking down a dictator requires a swift and final solution.

We Democrats are experiencing that part of Childhood PTSD called “self-loathing.” Yes, we as citizens have been through a long period of trauma. It’s not over but we ARE finding new, younger leaders and our own united voices of all ages.
