This is an iceberg. So many costs, both monetary but also in sheer human life will never be fully understood by the public. Thanks for helping shed some light on it. It's a crime, like arson, and should be prosecuted as such
FIRED, they didn't "leave" voluntarily. NPR reported seasonal workers were asked to "volunteer" at National Parks (Yosemite) when DOGE cut jobs, even though they were hired in the spring for the summer season. Too late to change plans. Weren't paid for weeks, $20/hr. Shameful.😠
