    I have also chosen to license the article under CC BY 4.0. This means that anyone can translate it, adapt it, republish it, do just about anything with it as long as attribution is given. If we want to put a stop to these plans, we need to force a public promise out of Crunchyroll to do better.

    I don't mean to be weird when I say this, but...people actually watch Crunchyroll? Maybe it's just my viewpoint as a person from a country that barely has any streaming services, but I thought most people just pirated anime. That's what I and all of my friends do, at least.

    It sucks for sure and I don't aprove of it. I watch dub mainly because reading subtitles is slower for me due to my vision and thus I'd miss too much video. .

    Dreamworks were one of the first to use the new subtitle format with Disney soon after.

    FYI: something odd is happening with your gradient background when I scroll on mobile that wasn't happening before. It's scrolling a bit before "locking", so it starts over on the lower third.

    This could easily be just on my end! Vivaldi updated recently. But I wanted you to know in case it isn't.

    I bet they hired an AI company to do it. A lot of the online manhwa companies are doing that now, trying to cut out translators entirely to speed up the process and save money…at the cost of quality. :( It’s a real shame.
