This is exactly right; any answer to any question about “why doesn’t the left do X thing the right does” is always the same.
My friends and I have attempted a version of taking over the Democratic Party from the left. The campaign against us by the establishment has been unrelenting.
America has no left. It has Bernie Sanders and AOC and a few other screaming into the void left when the rest of the party became basically Reagan republicans as the old republican party became the AFP (American Fascist Party) We have no left. Only right and further right. These are your choices
now, and the fascists cheat to beat the conservatives inhabiting the democratic party as the "democrats" (read the regular conservatives) look the other way and pretend it's not happening. We are true and rightly fucked and the "democrat" leadership isn't doing shit - at least not many are.
