We have had a safe and effective vaccine for measles almost all of my life. Then a bunch of arrogant fools start rewriting history and here we are.
The measles vaccine was so effective the disease was considered eliminated in the U.S., but a resurgence of outbreaks is spurring a need for drugs.
How about we just not treat people who get measles as a result of refusing to be vaccinated?

It was called a vaccine.
So we are going to spend money and time that could be used to find treatments or cures for other diseases I order to treat a disease that we had effectively eradicated because people don’t trust the science on vaccines but will on the treatment? Make it make sense.
So let me get this right, they are trying to create a vaccine for the anti- vaxxers
Read the book "blind faith" by Ben Elton a dystopian novel set where if you don't share you every action to social media you are shunned and the only people vaccinating are illegal underground doctors. Protagonist gets his kid vaccinated against wife's wish and then has to navigate miracle baby tag.

The treatment for Measles is to not catch the Measles in the first place. I swear the antivaxers must have been dropped way to many times on their heads as a kid
GEE. Would it not be smarter and cheaper to PREVENT the sickness than to treat it. Wait. Ah the hell you say. Vaccines can prevent Measles. Why DAMN. That would save a lot of lives.
This information should be free… the poorly uneducated need free news. They get cable in rural areas so no real news.. to educate knowledge must be free
Or, ya know, we could just prevent measles from happening in the first place, thus eliminating the need to "treat" it.
