So, my fence posts are now covered with pieces of stabby wood posts wherever Mama deer could get through - she just did a drive-by & kept on going.
My yard looks like an insane person tried to build a prisoner of war camp, but if it saves my trees & plants, it will be worth it.
I used to have a house backing into a greenbelt, and there were always deer out there. I had a wrought iron fence next to the house. One of fawns got stuck in it. Mom was🤬
I ended up freeing it with one hand while fending off moms hooves with a trash can lid. So you're fine.😆
They are scary when they are defending their babies!
