UPDATE: After losing in court, the GOP-led Utah Legislature is asking the state Supreme Court to pause the ruling that struck down their gerrymandered map.
They are asking the court to let them keep using the 2021 map during appeals and upcoming elections.

Considering that the Utah Supreme Court unanimously ruled in favor of the ballot initiative that the Legislature bypassed when they put together their gerrymandered map, I doubt they will have much luck.

Considering how right wing The League of Women Voters is, this is weird across the board.
Our appeal system seems to make every verdict meaningless. What’s the point of lower courts if all decisions are made by the higher courts?
Have they tried deploying the National Guard and/or the Marines to get what they want?
Have they tried deporting the judges who ruled against them to Botswana or Siberia?
Have they tried witchcraft?
