  1. I did it 2 weeks ago. My station, KPTS (Wichita) now depends on 98% of funding from community support. Shame on Jerry Moran and Roger Marshall.

  2. I'm already a PBS Passport holder but I did a random donation, sans gift, last night. KQED, isn't just a TV ststion. It's part of the SF Bay Area community. Be a shame to lose that.

  3. If you work at a company, talk to the CEO’s office to see if they will do a company-wide program matching employee donations to PBS & NPR stations.

    That would double your contribution.

    Give it a try, you might become a hero (heroine) at the company for suggesting it.

  4. I became a sustaining member today with a monthly pledge so they can count on that income. Please join me by supporting your local station. Just go to their website whether they are asking or not.

  5. My earliest memory of PBS was watching Sesame Street and The Electric Company ("Hey you guys!"). Looking back, I realize at every age and every stage, there was something on PBS for me to love and learn from. I am a proud sustaining member and encourage others to contribute, too.
