My state, Missouri, has put into affect rules for age verification without going through any representatives or our legislature. The attorney general basically said “fuck you” and used a back door. It’s active on August 30th and it’s gonna be rough because it applies to all websites.

Heads up - even the FSC tracker is out of date, there were bills introduced in Minnesota, but they never made it anywhere and legislature is out of session until February 26' In which case the bills will have to be refiled to be reconsidered.
should i tell them that it's a personal privacy violation straight up or should i say that it's a parents' responsibility to monitor their children's online activity and that other people using the internet shouldn't have to pay the price for it
