  1. Sounds like New Zealand is following the right wing idea of education. I would warn citizens there, that the U.S. education system, economic policy, and political climate is not worth following.

  2. I’d love to hear from a true sample of 20-30-year-olds re what worked and what didn’t work in their secondary schooling. Do we ever do that? Surely they’d have some relevant insights.

  3. Charter schools are framed as "choice", but what kind of choice is it if the only school in town is a fundie madrasa, where other peoples' kids are indoctrinated on the taxpayer dime, & LGBT & non-Xtian kids are forced to conform or be denied any education?

  6. Charter schools are an American euphemism for “I don’t quite like the ‘other’ kids that go to the school that my kids have to go, so I’ll put them in a Charter school”

  7. To them 'oximoron' means many- morons. The saddest thing is there is noone to stop them, and children etc are going to suffer for many years, or lifetime with the crazy changes, for change or donkey's sake
