Per @daveweigel.bsky.social, the DNC will be debating and possibly voting on two resos this month
One, submitted by DNC chair Ken Martin, calls for ceasefire and two-state solution. (on left)
Other from progressive DNC members calls for arms embargo and recognizing Palestine as a state. (on right)
May even see some of that this week with the forthcoming DNC votes on two competing Palestine resolutions.
Are these being chosen between or are they adoptable independently?
Multiple state-level Democratic Parties have called for restricting military assistance to Israel, including Washington State and Wisconsin, and just two months ago North Carolina's Democratic Party passed a resolution calling Israel an apartheid state & calling for a total embargo of military aid.
The 1st one is weak sauce middle of the road bullshit which I actually expect from the democrats. The 2nd is better, so it won't pass.
The one on the left is pretty nothing
So basically the DNC learned nothing from the election as the situation has only gotten worse on the ground. Great stuff guys!
I can see why they get paid the big bucks.
