These guys go on all day about cultural marxism but are actually nationalizing private enterprises.

Art of the “steal”
To be rebranded Trump Chips.
Yeah because by “cultural Marxism” they just mean Jews
Cultural Marxism is worse than actual Marxism.
Odds of at least some of those shares ending up in Trump and his buddies portfolios when he (finally) leaves office? 🤔
It's all projection. They can do it, but EVERYBODY ELSE BETTER NOT
So… the government owns 10% of Intel’s stock. Nothing too socialist!
National socialism?
It’s like with russia. He talks tariffs and sanctions and what not and always ends up helping them.
How much Solyndra bullshit did we have to endure?
Loans are communism but forcibly taking a stake in a private enterprise and then coercing other private enterprises to buy from them is the free market at work baby
It’s a corporate takeover. They just want to rule over our money.
So he basically extorted the shares out of Intel.
Someone else’s playbook. Monkey see Monkey do
Corporate stateism is distinguishable from communism how?
If we're going to nationalize any company, it should be spacex, since taxpayers funded the subsidies and most of the launch fees that got it where it is anyway.
Presumably with a couple of seats on the board.
I’m sure the 2026 Midterms will be a totally chill and normal affair.
Agree, I’ve lived this movie before.
The president's highly unusual announcement underscores the Trump administration's desire to take control over U.S. businesses.
So, threaten a corporate CEO, get 10% to wet your beak.
State ownership can be good and preferable in many instances, like in industries that are monopolies or oligopolies, either to provide real competition or more accountable monopoly. That said, I cannot help but think that Trump would just corrupt it for himself and his oligarchs.
You cannot make this shit up.
Will Trump transfer this ownership to himself when (and if) he leaves office? Asking for a friend.
Pure communism Welcome to Trumps China
Putin did these deals with the oligarchs in Russia. Putin knows where all the bodies are buried. He holds these cards over these people and Trump. If they cross him they fall out of a window.
The thing is, I bet his supporters will lap this up. Not sure it's even ideological inconsistency if they don't understand what conservatism is supposed to stand for.
If they're already building leading-edge SC and chips, what do they need Trump's "guiding hand" for?
The President of the Socialist Republic of the United States of America proudly announces that it now owns 10% of a major US company.
A total LIE that the govt got its shares for free. They used grant money under Biden’s Chips act to purchase them.
Remember when Conservatives went totally ape shit about the auto industry bailouts?
Putin does it, why wouldn't Trump ?
State owned companies.. just like his mother Putin.
Thank you for your attention to this matter
😂😂😂
Deal? I don’t know what the F it means?!
Grift and extortion going on somewhere, somehow. And he's building in a base of corporate support for the mid-terms.
Realize that there is no limit to what he will do.
And in this case it actually makes sense! Just like when we bailed out the auto companies. I think all of tech should pay enhanced taxes / have some asset ownership by the govt given that fundamental research for all this is given as public good for decades before commercialization.
I guess that's one way to tax them.
AKA Communism!
something something Government Motors
Paid nothing … because of extortion!
Central planning by a gangster government.
Then there’s the matter of this creative re-interpretation of signed contracts between the Feds and a private company. Caveat emptor!
Sounds like extortion.
That hatred that they claimed to have for the Soviets? It was actually admiration.
I wouldn’t be surprised if our tax money paid for it and the dividend payments get funneled to Trump.
Playing the stock market with our Treasury.
Friends, if there is no public benefit then it is neither socialism nor communism.
This is crony capitalism or kleptocracy.
I'm confused. Is Trump saying he now owns a controlling interest in Intel stock? What does this mean? I was kicked off of Truth Social so I don't know what this is about.
Donaldism, the changing of Donald's mind after the payment of a bribe or acquiescence to blackmail.
They don’t care about the meaning behind the labels they ascribe to themselves or to those on the left. They only care about the labels’ political utility. And they get away with their hypocrisies and inconsistencies because everyone in the media’s agreed to keep using the right’s preferred labels.
What happened: *Intel received $10B in grants via the CHIPS Act, part of an effort to increase US investment in chip production *Trump criticized the new CEO, calling on him to resign *US claims 10% stake in the company in exchange for grants, Trump now praises CEO www.nytimes.com/2025/08/22/t...
Stalin is applauding
Extortion makes America great again.
This is wayyyyy beyond what America should be. State owned businesses = Communism.
National Socialism you say? Never would have thought it.
Checks out.
