Most social landlords operate a largely hands off approach. Whilst the two parties involved should ensure properties are in a reasonable state at the point of exchange, that does not absolve the landlord of its responsibilities. Much to be improved on.

"We are satisfied all our processes have been followed..." I'd humbly suggest that isnt the flex you think it is.Perhaps the processes are broken,not fit for pupose,in need of review. I feel this is increasingly where we go to as a sector. 'We followed our processes..' so its somehow not our fault.

  1. Yea, admitting your processes are shite is a bold move. Far from on their own in this approach. Remarkable, landlords who don't want to look after their stock.
