Sometimes it is hard not to fall into despair. I feel as if I am fighting a battle I can't win. When it comes to my health, I keep fighting. There's no other option. I have to keep living because the alternative is worse. Same goes for politics.

CBS News posted a story about a zoo in Denmark accepting donations of pets in need of euthanasia. The pets are humanely euthanized and then fed to predators. I'm not sure how I feel about it. Three of my pets were euthanized and then buried. Maybe this is better, but I wouldn't watch.
