There was a storm last night, and I lost a swath of the Lisette and a little of the Christine flax to lodging, but the majority still looks fine. Hopefully, there will be no more big wind/ rain events before I harvest in about 30 days.

#flax

A patch of fiber flax (Lisette variety) that has been blown over in a storm. This is called "lodging", and it will make this part of the bed unharvestable.A smaller area of lodged flax in the bed of the "Christine" variety. There are someflax blossoms visible on the plants, and the vegetation looks very lush and green.

To be fair, the Landis crop took a slight hit too. Hope the rest stays in good shape through harvest.
