even though he was behind the scenes, red has been such a cornerstone of this show week after week since before i joined. we're doing a show this week and i know whoever fills his shoes will do an impeccable job because my coworkers are all so good but also, nvc minus red is unfathomable to me.

Aw man...."Red on the 1's and 2's" was a phrase that I felt was synonymous with NVC. He'll be very sorely missed. Such a loss!!
Saddest part is that IGN has covered a lot of layoff stories but no mentions of layoffs of their own...

This is counterintuitive to a company that I assume would prefer to have quality content on its platform.

How sad and disappointing. Red made it work as much as (if not more than) any individual presenter or panel member. We’ve lost several of the NVC squad over the past few years and it only ever serves to make things weaker. Good luck to you all, you are excellent and I hope your great work is secure
