#WeRemember🕯️

We honour the memory of victims that were part of the atrocious Roma Holocaust taking more than 500,000 lives.

Today marks 10 years since the EU officially recognised this day.

We stand united against antigypsyism — today and every day.

A line drawing of a candle with a flame, set against a circular background resembling the Romani flag, featuring red and blue colours with white segments radiating from the centre. Below the candle, it’s written 'WE REMEMBER'. The wall background in the image has a rough and weathered texture, with visible peeling paint and discoloration. It gives off a rustic appearance, suggesting age and wear. The EU flag in the bottom right corner.

  1. About 7 million non-jews were executed in the Holocaust; 2.5 million Poles, 3.3 million Soviet prisoners of war and up to 500,000 Roma. In addition, many forced laborers from all over Europe, homosexuals and the mentally and physically disabled were killed.

  2. Commemoration of these atrocities is necessary, but doing everything possible to prevent, condemn, and stop new genocide is a duty; otherwise, we are complicit. So, Europe, stand tall and help stop the genocide in Gaza, or have the courage to set a date for its commemoration now.

  3. How dare you insult the living oppressed, and the memories of those who have died. You have made all EU citizens complicit in such genocide as I type these words. Shame on you for even uttering these hollow words.

To the staff managing this account: quit now and find a respectable job.

  4. Another community often scapegoated for the societal problems created by the elites.

No surprise extremist parties target them heavily.
