mine too and number two is the ability to schedule posts so you dont have to write them at the time you want them to go online. which especially if your a content creator or otherwise busy person may not always be reliably possible. third would be to save drafts so you can save an idea for later

The pin feed got unreliable late last year, so I adopted a different technique: I set up an Alt account so I can DM important postings to myself. (Unlike in the other place, you can't DM them to yourself.)
I find that because it's right there in my Chat, it's harder to ignore than the pin feed.
