That struck me hard. Those of us in Red States who are privileged enough to have the resources to flee shouldn’t retreat to safe spaces, we need to fight and hold the line for those who can’t leave.
Bloom where you are planted.
And it took a kid half my age to inspire me to stay in the fight.
