    My hope is that the wording is vague enough, which it seems to be, that cis people with sex disorders will also be barred care and then maybe the general populace will care. It just says “for modification of sex traits” which could include gynecomastia and precocious puberty.

    Question: does the removal of hormone therapy only apply to transgender folks? Or will they discover that their testosterone treatments and estrogen therapies for menopause also fall under this ban?

    This is an FYI to any transgender USPS/Federal workers who will be affected by the removal of GAC from their benefits: District Plastic Surgery in DC has made a commitment to fit as many folks affected by this as possible prior to the change. If you are affected by this, please give them a call.

    This is why I became an antitheist and why I will always have a soft spot for survivors of religious trauma and abuse.

    Religion is personal and has no place in our government.

    Conversion therapy does NOT work. Affirming and accepting queer people for who we are does work

    I'm a Postal employee for 10 years. My customers appreciate the work I do, and I like the work on most days. I'm going to do everything that i can do to keep my job, even if I have to pay for my meds out of pocket. Staying strong is the only way we're going to get through this
