I know this is just a joke post, but the Wii U eshop is no longer active, so its not possible to bring the game to the eshop even if the devs wanted to.

Didn't limited run put out a game for the wii u long after the console was discontinued? It's pretty much just a blu ray with a security string at the front of the data to tell the Wii u that it can use it.
