UN Security Council ambassadors meet in emergency session on Gaza
UN chief António Guterres described Israel's planned expansion of military operations earlier as a “dangerous escalation” for the two million civilians trapped in the enclave as well as the remaining Israeli hostages still held captive.
If only the security council was not permanently crippled by the veto powers that should never have been granted.
I hope they will come up with something more meaningful than a Resolution full of weasel words. At the very least immediate suspension of Israel, if not expulsion, from the UN. And a call for all nations to STOP arms sales, and impose sanctions.

Thank goodness, the UN Security Counsel is still working against this. I think the UN should start ignoring trump and his war mongering and hate and applaud if the United States does what many MAGA persons want, and just leave the UN...so THEY can do what they need to do.
No doubt that this meeting is what was needed to resolve the conflict 🙄
Trump will soon evict the UN from US soil.
A stupid move. That's how I know he will do it.
