For me, faith comes from experience and necessity. When one faces profound evil, for example, having a higher power to appeal to builds strength and perseverance. And personally, as someone who has face evil in small and large ways, and have survived, I can't help but see God's presence.

  1. I admit that I used to think like this. I used to say that there was a scientific explanation for every element of my life. But sometimes human evil becomes so profound that, no matter how much you want to find a logical reason for it, you can't. And facing that evil takes more than mere science.
