idk man if i worked at a car company i would be very embarassed that the president keeps linking your product (any big truck) with trade-breaking agreements with other companies
like i would hate for a silverado or f-150 to be mentioned in the same breath of “15% tarrifs because you don’t buy any”
this shit is textbook “rich dad changing the rules so his failson can compete”
most sane people would realize how embarassing that is
japanese (and anyone else) aren’t going to not resent you for cheating and start buying your truck, dammit
also it’s crazy how dumb trump is
you can’t be mad that people aren’t buying American cars (trucks) while actively destroying the supply chain that creates american cars and trucks
you can’t think an extra dozen or so trucks sold in Japan will make up for the billions of dollars of profit lost
