I have a compulsory class in ‘how to write essays’ - the kids haven’t graduated high school with that knowledge.

They don’t speak up to authority or question the status quo.

It’s not what I consider a healthy environment for critical thinking.

There’s no spirit in the subdued.

That’s deflating to hear

But remember, your degree is about you and what you choose to make of it

Your edge is your maturity to learn critical thinking and perspectives and proactively decide how you will apply this learning in your future

  1. Totally. Wouldn’t be doing it if I wasn’t learning. It’s just a bit sad to see the kids without some fight.

    They’re lovely humans, but they’re not kicking against establishment pricks like they should.

    I’m all good, just pissed off at the shemozzle successive governments have made of it all.
